Hobbyists, craftspeople, electricians, and industrial shops all use what comes off our floor.\n\nWall Lenk recently came under new ownership. We're investing in the plant — equipment, training, process, and people. You'd be joining at the start of that, not the end of it.\n\nWhat You'll Actually Do\n\nYou'll set up, run, and maintain production machinery on our floor — and you'll own the quality of what comes off it.\n\n* Set up and adjust machines for scheduled production runs\n* Run equipment at capacity while holding quality standards\n* Inspect your own output and catch problems before they leave the building\n* Perform routine operator-level maintenance and keep your area clean and safe\n* Read and follow work orders, specs, and safety procedures\n* Record production counts and quality data accurately\n* Flag mechanical issues early and work with maintenance to get them fixed\n* Cross-train on other machines and processes as you grow\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n\n*Required*\n\n* 18 years or older (the work involves heat, power equipment, and hazardous materials)\n* High school diploma or equivalent\n* 6+ months operating production machinery in a manufacturing setting\n* Able to read basic work orders, gauges, and measurements\n* Able to stand, lift, and work on your feet through a 10-hour shift\n* Reliable attendance — a four-day week only works when the crew shows up\n* Good written and spoken English\n\n*Helps you stand out*\n\n* Experience with setups and changeovers, not just running a machine someone else set up\n* Basic mechanical troubleshooting — you can tell when a machine is \"off\" before it makes bad parts\n* Any exposure to 5S, lean, or continuous improvement\n* Soldering, small-assembly, or electrical-component experience\n\nPay and Benefits\n\n*Pay:* $10.00 – $14.00 per hour, depending on experience _(see note below)_\n\n*Schedule:* Monday – Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (½-hour unpaid lunch). Day shift.\n\n*Overtime:* Time and one-half for all hours over 40 in a week.
