The ideal candidate will also assist with special events and be available as needed to support our 24x7 broadcast environment.\nThis position is responsible for hardware and software support for our mission critical technical systems required for broadcasting live and pre-taped shows. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical IT background to support our on-air operations of server-based digital video and audio control systems, graphics and non-linear editing systems, automation systems and their associated software and hardware infrastructure.\n\nResponsibilities Include:\nSupport for Newsrooms, Control Rooms, Studios and Editors.\nPoint of contact for location(s), its service(s) and its process(es).\nProvide recommendations based on requests and requirements from business and tech groups.\nRun numerous applications relating to - news production, communication, storage, content editing, and financials within the (Microsoft and Apple ecosystems).\nSupport existing Active Directory.\nManagement of data on shared storage.\nInstall and configure Windows servers and PCs with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems.\nBroadcast IT Functions (Air Control, Transmission and Media Distribution operations)\nImplement and maintain SAN systems.\nSupport Office 365 products – configure, setup and support.\nA/V Setup and support, related to conference system.\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n3+ years of IT broadcast (or Enterprise IT) related support.\nExperience with production systems – eg. AP ENPS, Avid iNews, Teleprompters.\nMust be available to work Holiday, weekends, early and late hours, potentially overnight and be able to lift 45 pounds of equipment, carry, unpack and set-up.\n\nAdditional Qualifications:\n\nExperience with Domain management (eg.
