The role involves performing a variety of maintenance trade functions such as installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment, HVAC, painting, wall repair, tile work, and upkeep of the preventative maintenance program.\nResponsibilities Perform general maintenance of building and facility mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.\nPerform general electrical repairs on appliances, house wiring, and air conditioning systems, switches, fixtures, and motors.\nMake repairs on plumbing fixtures, piping, drains, and sanitary systems.\nMake repairs to woodwork, wall vinyl, doors, windows, carpeting, etc.\nPerform general mechanical maintenance on pumps, compressors, water heaters, automotive equipment, and other miscellaneous equipment.\nKeep records as required by company policy and procedures.\nMaintain logs on completed tasks.\nPrepare reports as requested by supervisors.\nSubmit all requested reports/logs in a timely manner.\nQualifications Someone with a experience working in a Maintenance role at a hotel or resort.\nSomeone with knowledge of household repairs (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc.).\nSomeone with an engaging and welcoming personality.\nSomeone with a strong attention to detail.\nSomeone who can work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.\nSomeone with a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests.\nSomeone with excellent communication skills.\nSomeone who is available to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.\nAbility to walk, stand, reach, crouch, bend, push/pull throughout the duration of the shift.\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.\nCompensation & Benefits Compensation: $21.50 - $23.00 per hour.\nBenefits include comprehensive health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, on‑site wellness programs, local discounts, and employee rates on hotel stays.
