{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"d8781d749bb04edf4f5117a1","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/d8781d749bb04edf4f5117a1","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/d8781d749bb04edf4f5117a1","title":"Material Handler","description":"Summary\nResponsible for ensuring the organic materials flow through the shakers, informs the heavy equipment operator to fill the shakers, performs housekeeping duties which include scraping, sweeping and shoveling, stacking bags, and assists where necessary at the direction of the foreman.\nSite is currently working M-Thur 6a-430pm but this will change, effective October 1st we will work 8 hr shifts 6a-230p and 215p-1045p.\nRoles & Responsibilities\nVisually inspect lines area, clean and sweep area as needed, cut and dump when necessary\nReceives bags from sealer and installs into packaging boxes\nPush full boxes thru tape machine, stack cartons or bags on pallets, stage pallets at line area on occasion\nLoads taper machine if necessary help with the labeling of cartons and assist in the changing of labels when required\nDepending on product being ran could be 10lbs bags and boxes up to 60lbs if over 50lbs 2 man lift is required\nHelps forms boxes for packaging, replace tape in taper machine, performs light PM when necessary.\nBaling plastic and cardboard as needed, general outside cleanup and maintenance (weed eating, collecting plastic, ect.)\nMinimum Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nEntry level experience\nElectrical troubleshooting, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic repair experience\nAbility to follow safety practices to insure their safety and the safety of others around them-\nAbility to work in a dusty environment, hot/cold/rainy weather\nAbility to lift 50 pounds\nAbility to climb ladders and work on their feet for most of the day\nRequired Skills\nMaterial Handler\nJob Types: Contract, Full-time\nPay: $15.00 -
