Chief Maintenance Engineer

Chief Engineer-Buffalo Plant Job description: Manage and oversee engineering department within the plant including scheduling, hiring, performance reviews, discipline and termination or team members. Manage maintenance projects both scheduled and emergency to keep plant operations running at full capacity. Manage budget and costs of the engineering department. Create and implement preventative maintenance schedules for all plant equipment and systems. Maintain a strong knowledge of the plant including all equipment, systems, ongoing projects, repairs and installations. Requirements: Degrees or certifications in mechanics, hydraulics, electronics, or other fields HIGHLY PREFERRED Stationary boiler license HIGHLY PREFERRED 5 years of management experience 7 years of manufacturing or production plant maintenance experience Strong technical skillset Ability to lift 100+ lbs.
