This includes: coordination and facilitation of technical and/or trade-related classes, design and development of technical and/or trade-related curriculum, jobsite audits, and on-site/jobsite coaching and training. The ideal candidate must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite, proficient in the operation of audiovisual equipment, familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within electrical and/or specialty systems contractor field, and Knowledge of adult educational principles and theory is preferred. Confidentiality is essential for this position.\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS\nEducation: Completion of an apprenticeship program or an Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree\nExperience: Strong technical background, 5 years related experience in the electrical, specialty systems, or related trade, and 1 to 2 years facilitation experience\nTravel: Up to 25%\nWork Schedule: Typical work hours are between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Monday – Friday; However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nEffectively facilitates electrical apprenticeship, QuickStart, and trade-related training classes.\nCollaborates with Apprenticeship Team to research and recommend content, develop, pilot, and implement new technical and/or trade-related training and development programs.\nDesigns and develops technical and/or trade-related curriculum, based on organizational needs.\nConducts jobsite or on-site coaching and development of employees (related to audits and/or to assist with novel work or jobs in crisis).\nDevelops relationships with operational leaders that facilitate open dialogue and trust.\nSupports and provides guidance to Apprenticeship Coordinator in the coordination of the apprenticeship programs, as needed.\nWorks with L&D team and subject-matter experts to continuously improve the content, activities, and delivery of L&D technical and/or trade-related programs.\nContinually increases knowledge of L&D craft.\nActively participates in professional and trade-related organizations.\nDemonstrates an acceptance of the company culture (adhere to company values), an adoption of professional standards, and the ability to model these standards to trainees.\nDemonstrates approachability and ability to collaborate with others and effectively influence.\nThe job description and responsibilities described are intended to provide guidelines for job expectations and the employee's ability to perform the position described.
