Firefly Tutors is hiring for a TUTOR for elementary school students IN-HOME/IN-PERSON, Experienced Tutors ONLY Elementary tutor needed in Tustin CA, 92781 and surrounding areas (IN HOME ONLY), MUST BE AVAILABLE to tutor some Mon-Fri WEEKDAYS, start immediately, and continue tutoring through the 25/26 school year Ideal tutor candidate must have/be: Bachelor's degree or above FUN, skilled, creative, compassionate, intuitive, encouraging tutor Versed in best practices and instruction for math and English Language Arts (ELA), for elementary aged students 1-2 years of experience working with students Responsibilities Provide individualized tutoring sessions in math and English Language Arts - ELA (reading, writing, spelling, vocabulary, phonics, etc.) to enhance student understanding and performance. Implement engaging lesson plans and curricula tailored to students' needs. Utilize learning technology to facilitate effective teaching and learning experiences. Manage session dynamics and foster a positive learning environment for students of varying ages. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
