Join us and have a far-reaching impact, resonating across diverse demographics, from communities to the families that build them.\r\n\\n\r\nKey Responsibilities Apply engineering principles to design, develop, test, and maintain software systems.\r\nParticipate in code reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and implement software requirements.\r\nContribute to requirements analysis, conceptual design, detailed design, and implementation.\r\nSupport integration testing of software programs.\r\nAssist in generating interface control documents and contribute to the development of test plans and procedures.\r\nParticipate in specific phases of project implementation and handle multiple tasks concurrently.\r\nEvaluate problems on an as-needed basis and report to senior staff and project management lead.\r\nMinimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent work experience.\r\n2+ years of software engineering experience.\r\nA team player with a willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies quickly.\r\nExperience working and negotiating with stakeholders.\r\nProficient in Java development, with familiarity in Python, Ruby on Rails.\r\nExperience in an agile, multidisciplinary team environment, preferably in large-scale cloud applications.\r\nExperience developing RESTful API endpoints with object-oriented programming languages (e.g., Java/Spring).\r\nFamiliarity with healthcare data and integration, including HL7, FHIR, JSON, XML.\r\nUnderstanding of healthcare terminology sets (ICD, SNOMED, CPT/HCPCS, LOINC) and standards for interoperability (HL7v2, FHIR).\r\nFamiliarity with the development and implementation of concept maps, especially with respect to FHIR resources.\r\nExperience with addressing challenges in data cleaning and identifying ways to improve conformance and quality, especially with large volumes of clinical data.\r\nUS Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.\r\nMust reside in the Continental US.\r\nDepending on government agency, specific requirements may include public trust background check or security clearance.\r\nPreferred Requirements Past development experience, specifically web application development.\r\nPrevious public sector consulting experience and understanding of customer needs.\r\nExperience at CMS or in the healthcare industry.\r\nFamiliarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or other agile frameworks\r\n\\n $65,000 - $185,000 a year The likely salary range for this position is $65,000-$185,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
