The mission of the GIS Program is to empower the Bureau of Parks & Conservation to make smart, data-driven decisions.\n\nAn employee in this position is responsible for managing the Bureau of Parks & Conservation's geographic information system; producing maps and other deliverables as requested; and contributing to GIS projects including, but not limited to, building custom GIS tools and solutions, and applying spatial analysis.\n\nAn employee in this position will collaborate with Tennessee State Parks operational staff, including Park Rangers, as well as other divisions within the Bureau, including Facilities Management, Marketing, and others.
