This role focuses on keeping blow-molding and packaging equipment operating safely and efficiently through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on blow molding equipment and plant utilitiesDiagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsRead and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to support repairs and installationsAssist with equipment setups, modifications, and new machine installationsSupport production teams by training operators and troubleshooting equipment issuesAccurately document maintenance activities, parts usage, and work ordersCommunicate equipment status and issues with supervisors and other departmentsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following all safety standardsParticipate in continuous improvement and process optimization initiativesQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school training preferred2-4 years of industrial maintenance experience required; blow molding experience strongly preferredWorking knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems (PLCs, HVAC, hydraulics, pneumatics, or fabrication skills a plus)Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safelyBasic computer skills for work order entry and maintenance trackingStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsDependable, team-oriented, and able to work independently
