We stand for honesty, fairness, respect, efficiency, hard work, and cooperation.What are we looking for?We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to work with one of our US clients, a corporation that, through its subsidiaries, provides life insurance protection targeted to the middle American market. You will help modernize their infrastructure by moving existing on-premises systems to a cloud-native, serverless setup on AWS, and you'll work closely with their development teams to automate everything from CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code to deployments across every environment and the monitoring that keeps it all running. Experience with MLOps or DataOps is a strong plus.Communication and availability are extremely important in this role. The client's team counts on someone who responds quickly, keeps people in the loop without being asked, and is reachable and present during their working hours.If you are fully fluent in English, proactive, enjoy solving problems, and have strong attention to detail, this role could be a great fit for you! Our jobs are fully remote, and you will be integrated directly into the client's team, gaining valuable experience and forming meaningful connections.Here are some of the exciting day-to-day challenges you will face in this role:Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWSLead and support the migration of on-premises systems to a cloud-native, serverless architectureBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket Pipelines and automate deployment processesProvision and manage cloud resources with Terraform, keeping infrastructure versioned, reproducible, and consistent across environmentsHelp drive the shift from traditional DevOps practices toward platform engineering, building internal tools that support the development teamsSet up monitoring to keep systems reliable, and find and resolve performance bottlenecksWork alongside development, security, and operations teams, keeping communication clear and timelyApply security best practices, run regular security audits and vulnerability assessments, and help keep the platform compliant with industry standardsKeep documentation of infrastructure, processes, and tools up to dateShare knowledge and mentor junior team membersYou will shine if you have:Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or a related field, or equivalent hands-on DevOps experience5+ years of experience in a DevOps role within software organizationsProven experience with AWS services and cloud migration projectsExtensive experience with CI/CD tools, particularly Bitbucket PipelinesStrong proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as CodeSolid knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and KubernetesExperience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)Excellent communication skills and the availability to respond quickly and stay connected with the team throughout the workdayThe ability to write clear, easy-to-follow documentationStrong problem-solving and analytical skills, and the drive to work with minimal directionWillingness to learn and adapt to new technologiesNice to have: experience with MLOps or DataOps, such as ML or data pipelines, model deployment, or data platform automationNice to have: AWS certifications, such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate.
