Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Cedar Rapids, IA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,182 per week Shift Information: 3 days Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 7/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Profession: Respiratory Therapist Specialty: Respiratory Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Varied Hours per Shift: 36 hours/week Experience: 24 months of RRT/Respiratory experience in a hospital setting required. Must have completed a travel assignment within the past 15 months. NICU experience within the last 18 months required. Level III or Level IV NICU experience within the last 15 months required. Work history/resume must demonstrate 36 months of current RRT/Respiratory Therapy experience. License: Iowa Respiratory license highly preferred; will accept candidates with licensing. Certifications: Active certifications required: BLS (Basic Life Support) ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation) NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care) Must-Have: All certifications must be active. Epic EMR experience required. Experience with Drager, Jet, and Oscillator ventilators required. Must be willing and able to float across different units throughout the facility. CRTs will not be considered. Description: Quickly interviewing viable candidates via phone call or text. The candidate must be willing to work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming summer holidays. Patients of all ages, primarily adults with NICU. Scrubs: any color tops and bottoms, solids. Must have experience with the specified respiratory equipment. Professional references are preferred and should include recent supervisors or managers. Must provide documentation of all required certifications and licenses.
