Come join OneSource Medical Diagnostics, a provider of administrative and support services to Expert MRI, a leading radiology group. We’re currently seeking a Medical Scheduler to join our team. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Scheduling Manager to coordinate efficient patient schedules while serving as a key liaison between patients, referring providers, and internal teams. Schedule & Pay Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:30 PM (Rotating weekends once per month) Pay Range: $20.00–$23.00 per hour What We Offer Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Life Insurance, AD&D Short-Term & Long-Term Disability Employee Assistance Program Paid Time Off & Paid Sick Time Paid Holidays 401(k) What You’ll Do Handle high-volume scheduling and customer service calls Maintain and manage facility calendars to meet scheduling KPIs Monitor, resolve, and reconcile daily scheduling changes Register and update patient information in the EMR/RIS system Schedule exams based on referrals, site availability, and exam requirements Communicate with patients and referring providers regarding appointments and documentation Obtain, review, and confirm authorizations and insurance eligibility Enter accurate account and memo notes per management direction Perform patient screening and closing statements (exam prep instructions) Protect patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements Communicate scheduling issues or concerns with leadership Perform general clerical duties as needed Complete assigned scheduling tasks by end of day Other duties as assigned What We’re Looking For Minimum 1 year of relevant experience, Associate degree, specialized training, or equivalent 2+ years of experience in patient care or customer service Knowledge of radiology-related medical terminology (highly preferred) Experience with insurance verification and authorizations (PPO, HMO, Medicare, Workers’ Comp, PI, PI Med Pay) Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Proficiency in MS Office; typing speed of 40 WPM Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance Team-oriented, detail-focused, and customer-driven mindset OneSource Medical Diagnostics and Expert MRI are equal opportunity employers.
