This role is responsible for troubleshooting issues, optimizing support workflows, and facilitating a smooth handoff / transition from Sense pilot programs to scaled fleet operations. This position is critical in troubleshooting issues, improving operational processes, and driving continuous enhancements that support both internal teams and customer success.\nEssential Job Functions:\nStrategy & Program Leadership:\nLead the strategy and execution of customer pilot programs across multiple robotic platforms; manage the day-to-day team responsible for defining project scope, timelines and, defining pilot objectives, operational readiness criteria to ensure, and cross-functional resource planning to support successful product validation and commercialization\nSupport the handoff of pilot support from Engineering to Customer Operations, including training and documentation updates\nPartner with Product and Engineering leadership to translate pilot insights into product roadmap improvements, scalability enhancements, and operational readiness for large-scale fleet deployments\nServe as the central coordination point and primary liaison for cross-functional pilot initiatives; driving alignment between Engineering, Product, Sales, and Customer Operations while ensuring rapid escalation and resolution of complex technical and operational issues\nOperational Excellence & Tooling:\nOwn the resource planning and tracking framework for pilot operations across multiple platforms, ensuring alignment between internal teams and key stakeholders to support efficient pilot execution and scalable deployment readiness\nImplement pre-defined pilot success metrics and create reports to track pilot performance and readiness for full-scale deployment\nDocument and standardize workflows to improve support, monitoring, and troubleshooting processes; support the transition to long-term fleet operations\nTechnical Monitoring & Data Insights:\nEstablish monitoring frameworks for pilot performance, proactively identifying operational or technical risks and coordinating cross-functional teams to resolve issues and maintain deployment readiness\nWork with data teams to set performance requirements, analyze trends, and apply insights to improve operations\nCreate and manage pilot success metrics and reporting, providing visibility into pilot performance and readiness for full-scale commercial deployment\nTeam Management & Cross-Functional Coordination:\nManage and support team members by setting clear performance metrics, fostering accountability, and promoting professional growth\nActively participate in recruitment, onboarding, and approving timesheets to ensure accuracy and team efficiency\nEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements:\nBachelor's degree in a relevant field\n3+ years of experience in robotics, process development, or technical project management\nProven project management experience leading high impact projects\nPrevious experience managing and leading teams\nStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve hardware/software integration issues\nStrong data analysis skills with tools such as SQL, PowerBI, Grafana, and Tableau\nHighly reliable, adaptable, and self-motivated, with strong attention to detail\nRequired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics:\nStrong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to develop solutions for complex robotics challenges\nAbility to analyze technical ambiguity and provide clear, data-driven recommendations\nFamiliarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Grafana, Looker, Tableau\nExperience with ticketing and documentation platforms, including Jira, Confluence, Service Cloud or Zendesk.\nExcellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly and concisely\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously and prioritize effectively\nThings that Make a Difference:\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, or related technical field.\nExperience with cloud platforms and data processing, particularly Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Cloud Storage)\nProficiency in programming languages such as Python and C++ in a Linux environment\nKnowledge of SQL for data querying and analysis\nExperience with automation tooling and process improvement initiatives\nPrevious experience working within or in close collaboration with a Product team\nAbility to communicate effectively with external customers\nPhysical Demands:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
