We are seeking a candidate who meets the qualifications listed below.\nWe have a solid team of experienced and respected technicians. Our business continues to grow, and we are looking for another solid technician that is interested in a long-term position and who will fit well into our team.\n\nEssential Functions and Responsibilities:\nAssist with or conduct the daily operations and maintenance of the assigned facilities.\nSupervise maintenance staff and when applicable assign and monitor maintenance activities and projects\nPerform preventive maintenance duties, including changing filters, lubricating motors, replacing lamps, ballasts and fixtures, inspecting and adjusting belts, replacing motor bearings, aligning shafts, and other inspections and maintenance recommended by equipment manufacturers\nRecommend improvements to the preventive maintenance program on an ongoing basis\nCoordinate project efforts with outside contractors and technicians\nMaintain stock and inventory control\nRespond immediately to emergency situations (fire, evacuation, equipment failure, etc.) and customer concerns\nComply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives as related to building operations and practice safe work habits\nEnsure management team is informed of current building operations by compiling and submitting weekly reporting\nComplete all required Tolin Safety Training as scheduled.\nComplete 100% of the assigned training requirements for your position classification.\nAssist in the implementation of the Tolin Policy and Procedures Manual for your facility.\nComply with Tolin Dress Code and Appearance and the Uniforms policy while working and maintain a neat and clean appearance while on the property at times other than working hours\nKEY COMPETENCIES:\nCommunication Proficiency (oral and written)\nOrganization Skills\nTechnical Proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word)\nDecision Making\nProblem Solving/Analysis\nEXPERIENCE:\n5-10 years of HVAC experience, including boilers and chillers\nProject management\nPossess a valid “Universal” level certification for CFC and HFC based refrigerants (EPA Section 608); to service, repair, or dispose of equipment that could release ozone depleting refrigerants to the atmosphere or any similar combination of education and experience\nPossess and maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record with periodic checks\nMay require shift work and/or on call duties\n\nEDUCATION:\nHigh School Diploma or GED Equivalent\nGraduate of apprentice program or trade school preferred\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.\n\nMust have ability to stoop, stand, climb, frequently lift a minimum of 50 lbs. of equipment (pumps, tools, ladders) and safely install rigging/lifting devices\nRegularly required to crouch and reach to install/move equipment by bending forward at the waist or by bending legs and spine\nInvolves movement between departments, floors, and properties to facilitate work\n\nCompensation & Benefits:\nAverage Starting Rate: $28.00 to $35.00 per hour.
