Lead shift employees in meeting production schedules, quality standards, scrap reduction goals, and continuous improvement initiatives while promoting a culture of safety, teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence.What the role entails(Key Responsibilities)Supervise daily production activities to meet schedule, quality, and productivity targets.Identify and resolve production issues, bottlenecks, and equipment or process concerns that may impact delivery or efficiency.Monitor machine utilization, staffing, workflow, and production performance.Lead, coach, and develop production employees through training, feedback, and performance management.Communicate production goals, operational updates, and shift priorities through regular team meetings and shift handoffs.Coordinate effectively with cross-functional departments to support customer requirements and operational objectives.Enforce company policies and disciplinary procedures consistently and professionally.Ensure adherence to quality standards and production procedures.Promote and enforce all company safety policies and procedures.Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.Conduct safety coaching, training, and corrective actions as needed.Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards throughout the production area.What we are looking for in you(Skills, Knowledge, Special Attributes, Mobility)High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical training preferred.1–3 years of manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience preferred.Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and lead by example.Strong sense of urgency, accountability, and continuous improvement mindset."At STL – Sterlite Technologies Limited, we are proud to be a Great Place to Work Certified organization, reflecting our commitment to building a culture rooted in trust, collaboration, and high performance.
