The team is dedicated to inspiring better business performance and helping clients focus on their core businesses.\nThe Facility Program Manager supports client operations with the day-to-day coordination and implementations of activities pertaining to the uptime and reliability provided with our contracted colocations within the region. The Facility Program Manager will be the primary individual to collect information, identify solutions, ensure data, tabletop/white board with facility teams and engineering resources, and present recommendations to the client’s Data Center Managers.\nKey Duties and Responsibilities\nSupport incident events by\nBeing available 24X7X365 for secondary escalation from the facility if the client Data Center Manager is not reached in time.\nRepresenting the client on the facility communications collecting the information and reporting to the client Data Center Manager with recommendations of next steps.\nOwning the RCA participation with facilities and overseeing action items to be driven to a target date.\nSupporting changes by\nCoordinate change requests from the colocation provider to validate window, scope, assessment, documentation, etc.\nDraft changes to include change details such as risk identification, impacts, mitigation, etc.\nRepresent client on CAB required facility changes and be able to speak to the change if questions arise.\nSupport maintenance activities by\nEnsuring maintenance calendars actives are planned and target schedule.\nEnsuring and approving facility MOPs for maintenances.\nIdentify and coordinate table tops and changes as needed.\nIdentify the risk of the maintenance.\nCollaborate on risk mitigation and backout.\nEngage additional client engineering resources.\nValidating no conflicting maintenances with other regions, availability zones, or failure domains.\nProject managing any facility related improvement/fixes needed to ensure all activities align with the SLAs\nSupport site access compliance and operations by\nProvisioning access after the client Data Center Manager has provided their approval.\nCompleting termination access tickets completed in both client and colocation systems.\nPerforming quarterly assessment of active badge users per compliance policy.\nEscort/tour as needed and available.\nSupport space and power allocations and forecasting by\nAnalyzing Capacity Planning Forecast tickets to ensure distribution thresholds are not at risk.\nIdentify, collect data, and present findings of exceptions asks for the Data Center Manager review.\nInvestigate power usage anomalies and collect data for next steps with the Data Center Manager.\nSupport quality assurance by\nPreparing the site and resource for site audits assessment and taking part in site audit assessment.\nOversite and ownership of remediation action plan items tracking to completion.\nGoverning the client’s DCIM data is valid and accurate at all times.\nParticipating in authoring, reviewing, and approving facility related procedures.\nSupport vendor management by\nOversite of the onsite vendor check-in supporting infrastructure and facility vendors.\nGovernance of the cleaning services contract.\nChampion the colocation contract SLAs and KPIs to ensure all items are being met.\nContribute to the completion of other key initiatives as assigned.\nClient Relations and Commnication\nDocument, manage and appropriately escalate project and client issues and concerns.\nEvaluate industry trends as new standards emerge for best practices, and closely coordinate these potential opportunities with our client and share all applicable information.\nExplain technical information in a clear manner internally to team members and externally to the client.\nQualified candidates will possess the following:\nRECOMMENDED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, and ABILITIES\nBachelor’s Degree in Business, Facilities Management, Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent field of study or work experience.\nMinimum five years experience in facility management or related field.\nExpert knowledge of data center operations and system configurations.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to read and understand electrical and mechanical one-lines.\nIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and Visio along with working knowledge of SharePoint.\nKnowledge of fundamental electrical and mechanical Data Center operations\nKnowledge of fundamental electrical and mechanical Data Center operations\nSelf-driven and high proficiency of time management\nExperience and understanding in procedure and process (authoring, reviewing, approving, and executing)\nOur company culture includes a robust mix of sound business practices and employee initiatives that promote personal and professional development, work/life balance, health and wellness and community involvement.\nThe Company is an equal opportunity employer.
