Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

We’re hiring an Associate Principal / Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join a growing MEP consulting team in the Denver area.This leadership role is ideal for an experienced mechanical engineer who is passionate about HVAC design, team development, client relationships, and delivering high-quality engineering solutions on complex projects. The selected candidate will lead local MEP teams, manage projects, oversee HVAC system design, and help grow long-term client partnerships with architects and owners.Key Responsibilities:• Lead and mentor local MEP design teams• Manage HVAC system selection, engineering, and design• Prepare drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical analyses• Build and maintain strong client relationships• Oversee project delivery and construction administration activities• Support business development and team growth initiativesQualifications:• BSME required• 10+ years of MEP consulting/design experience in the Denver market• Strong project management and leadership experience• Excellent communication and client-facing skills• Deep understanding of HVAC systems and building codesPreferred Qualifications:• PE License• LEED Accreditation• IES-VE experienceThis is an outstanding opportunity for a senior-level engineer seeking a leadership role with influence over projects, client growth, and team development.
