This role focuses on the design, analysis, and integration of RF and signal processing systems that enable next-generation battlefield awareness, electronic warfare, and spectrum management capabilities. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, analysts, and operators to design and deliver systems that integrate data from diverse sensors, communications, and radar systems to provide actionable intelligence and operational advantage. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise in RF, signal processing, and spectrum management, along with experience contributing to mission-critical DoD programs in multi-domain environments. This is a full time position located at MacDill AFB, FL or Ft. Belvoir, VA. ***Contingent upon contract award*** Responsibilities duties include, but are not limited to:\r\nDevelop, test, and maintain software features of moderate complexity with limited supervision.\r\nCollaborate with senior engineers, product managers, and QA to refine requirements and deliver solutions.\r\nParticipate in code reviews, contribute constructive feedback, and follow established coding standards.\r\nTroubleshoot and debug issues across development and test environments.\r\nContribute to technical documentation, including design notes, API references, and user guides.\r\nSupport integration, deployment, and CI/CD activities as part of the development lifecycle.\r\nWrite and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.\r\nAssist in improving development processes, tools, and team workflows.\r\nBegin taking ownership of small modules or components within the system architecture.\r\n***Contingent upon contract award*** Qualifications Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Minimum Required Qualifications Clearance: Active Secret (ability to obtain TS/SCI) Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with 2-5 years of relevant experience.\r\nProficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript\r\nExperience with version control systems such as Git\r\nUnderstanding of software development methodologies, data structures, and algorithms\r\nFamiliarity with RESTful APIs, microservices, or distributed systems\r\nAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment\r\nAbility to communicate technical concepts clearly\r\nPreferred Qualifications Clearance: TS/SCI Experience: Technical Skills\r\nKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks\r\nExposure to containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes\r\nExperience with relational and/or NoSQL databases\r\nLocation: Tampa, FL or Fort Belvoir, VA Travel: As needed #LI-SB1 ***Contingent upon contract award*** Company Overview Odyssey Systems is a world-class technical, engineering, and integration company serving the warfighting ecosystem with airborne integration, ISR, C2, and warfighter readiness capabilities.
