We are looking for outgoing students that want to apply what they have learned in their Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture courses to real life experiences.\n\nAt Sevan you will be part of a team that is dynamic and fast paced. Strong communication skills and a desire to be involved in all aspects of a project life cycle are a must. Problem solving skills, thinking outside the box and dealing with ambiguity are skills that we value. You will work alongside experienced individuals as well as the opportunity to operate independently.\n\nOur interns receive hands‑on, real‑world experience and take pride in learning day to day activities that help launch our business and your knowledge forward. We are looking for people who enjoy a challenge and working together as a team each day.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\n\nLearn project management skills through exposure to projects and programs for various large corporate clients\n\nAssist the Project Team with on-site review of construction progress against established project schedule\n\nSupport Project Manager with monitoring and reporting on project work in the field\n\nAssist Project Team with project reporting and documentation requirements\n\nAssist in preparation of tracking and status reports, utilizing Excel\n\nGeneral understanding of construction management terms and processes required\n\nAbility to communicate effectively with vendors\n\nContribute in validating and reviewing contracts, bill of materials, and change orders\n\nRespond effectively to sensitive inquiries\n\nAdditional duties as assigned\n\nQualifications:\n\nIn progress: 4-year degree in construction related program, or equivalent\n\nStrong ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of the project team including management, project management, clients, client’s organization, contractors, and vendors\n\nAbility to prioritize and handle diverse workload\n\nWilling to dive in, proactively ask for new things you can help with, desire to learn and ambition to excel\n\nStrong attention to detail\n\nAbility to tolerate ambiguity and be able to work effectively within a diverse workplace\n\nStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize in a changing work environment\n\nProficient working knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite\n\nWork Conditions & Pay:\nThis is a remote based role with recurring travel to project locations. Multi-shift work may be required to accomplish work in active retail locations to meet aggressive schedules.
