This is a remote, unpaid role, or in-person if you live in the Bay Area and are able to commute to the Berkeley Skydeck Penthouse in Berkeley, CA, a few times per week.  As a Software Engineer Intern at Syft.ai, your day-to-day tasks will include designing, implementing, and testing software features, primarily in back-end services that integrate document content with browser context. You will collaborate with engineers to improve system performance, reliability, and scalability, and help refine APIs and data pipelines that connect different components of the product. The role also involves debugging issues, writing clean and maintainable code, participating in code reviews, and supporting experiments that enhance AI-driven suggestions.
