This role blends technical development with strategic insight, requiring expertise in business intelligence tools, data modeling, and analytics. The developer will collaborate with cybersecurity product teams, metric owners, and executive stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable dashboards, reports, and automated alerts that provide visibility into cybersecurity performance. They will also support the ongoing evolution of the metrics framework, ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and alignment with organizational risk objectives. Success in this role depends on strong SQL, Alteryx, and BI tool proficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to develop creative solutions to complex data challenges.\nJob Requirements:\n\nOwn the delivery of BI reporting and dashboards from start to finish\nConvert ideas and business needs into meaningful report/dashboard designs\nPerform data preparation work (e.g., source, scrub, mine, and integrate relevant data sources) needed for the delivery of BI and data visualization solutions.\nIdentify new approaches to complex design problems related to BI and advanced data visualization\nDevelop and maintain consultative relationships with key business stakeholders, proactively identifying and addressing business needs, along with regulatory and compliance requirements\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nEducation & Prior Job Experience; BS in Engineering, Data Science, Operations Research, Computer Science, Mathematics, related fields, or equivalent experience/training\n3+ years of experience designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining large scale business intelligence (BI) and data visualization programs\n2+ years of experience on Power Apps and Power Automate\nExtensive experience in PowerBI development\nDemonstrated aptitude for logical analysis, problem identification, and problem solving as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills\nAbility to use computer-based tools and programming languages to implement solutions\nExcellent oral and written communication skills as well as interpersonal and multitasking skills\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nAdvanced degree (MS) in Engineering, Data Science, Operations Research, Computer Science, Mathematics\n2+ years’ experience in a technical professional environment\nFamiliarity with the airline/travel industry\nPreference will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas:\nR or Python programming\nData Mining/Big Data concepts and tools\nKnowledge of classification, statistical and machine learning algorithms for predictive and prescriptive analytics\nAbility to wrangle data from disparate sources into a comprehensive view of a business problem\nPrior experience with recommender systems and text mining a plus\nWorking with structured query language (SQL) database development, SQL\nAlteryx for ETL data blending preferred; open to candidates with experience in other ETL tools.
