The Quality Tech is responsible for following BRC guidelines, and compliance with safety and quality standards.\n\n*Main Duties and Responsibilities:*\n\n* Inspect, tests, or measures materials or products being produced , documents and maintains quality tech records\n* Monitors the production team to ensure they meet required standards\n* Informs Sr. Quality Engineer of any products that fail to meet standards and any deviations\n* Reports unsafe practices to the Sr. Quality Engineer\n* Assist SQE with quality improvement projects\n* Contribute to internal Audits\n* Must comply with British Retail Consortium Global Standards (BRCGS) and hygiene standards\n* Maintain Re-grind Stations \n* Empty, weigh, label, store, re-load, and clean re-grind stations\n* Raw Material \n* Maintain adequate levels on the Off-line and In-line extruders \n* Load and unload material hoppers for Off-line\n* Load and unload material bins (re-grind and copo) \n* Unload & stage incoming Material trucks \n* Foil Rolls \n* Unload completed foil rolls from off-line extruder and stage at thermoforming machine \n* Load empty roll into extruder \n* Compounder \n* Stage re-grind in front of load side of compounder.  \n* Empty full hoppers of repro into empty gaylords.  \n* Weigh and label all Repro-0099 with Re-grind tags \n* Housekeeping \n* Raw material dumper \n* Trash cans & dumpsters \n* Sweep drive aisles (safety) \n\n*Qualifications:*\n\n* High School Diploma or GED\n* 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, quality, or equivalent\n* Previous QC lab experience\n* Forklift experience\n\n*Technical Skills:*\n\n* Experience in the utilization of common lab equipment and ability to read and interpret instructions for use of new equipment\n* Computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)\n\n*To Apply: *Email resumes to Trent.Wise@jfs.ohio.gov with “deSter – Quality Tech” in the subject line.
