This position has a range of responsibilities including high touch guest service, barback training, prepping, ingredient production, cleaning, and organization. It is not intended to be all inclusive.\n\nPRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES\nExtend a genuine welcome and good-bye to all Ettan + Copra + Eylan guests;\nWork with a team mentality, looking out for the best interest of the whole team\nOversee, communicate, and execute all bar duties/responsibilities;\nSet up and breakdown of bar, 2 wells nightly.\nFollow cocktail recipes from Ettan + Copra + Eylan bar bible;\nTrack juice pars and log juice production needs\nCapable of executing all opening and closing bar prep\nIn depth knowledge of Ettan + Copra + Eylan's beer, wine, cocktails, and spirits\nIn depth knowledge of food menu; able to answer basic guest questions and describe dishes\nCommunicate with management about any improving a guest experiences or special praise for their Ettan + Copra + Eylan experience\nMaintain awareness of the status of the restaurant as a whole during service to optimize collaboration and flow of service\nMaintain cleanliness and restock liquor storage room weekly\nCommunicate with Bar Director any ingredient needs in a professional, timely manner\n\nSECONDARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES\nHelp guide and train new staff\nParticipate in daily lineup discussions\nHave a keen eye on and take action to ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the service areas and restaurant in general\n\nKNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES - REQUIRED\nMust be authorized to work in the United States\nMust be able to lift at least 50lbs without assistance\nCurrent Food Handler and Unlawful Harassment training certificates\nAbility to effectively communicate with staff in both front of house and back of house about service needs and adjustments\nAbility to maintain a calm, even temperament, and focus under pressure\nClear sense of time management skills before, during, and after service\nSolid foundation of spirit, cocktail, beer & wine knowledge - a willingness to deepen knowledge in each of these categories\nApproach tasks with a sense of thoughtful urgency\nSpeak with respect and professionalism\nBe punctual\n\nKNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES – PREFERRED\nGood time management and ability to multitask\nHigh level of spirits and cocktail preparation knowledge\nExperience in a Michelin rated or James Beard nominated restaurant\nExperience in high volume high performance restaurant environments\n\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nThe physical requirements listed are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
