Here, you will be part of a dedicated team helping at-risk adolescents and adults in BUILDING BETTER FUTURESPosition Purpose: The Night Supervisor ensures safety and security of clients and the facility, develops and implements the program and schedule for patients, and supervised the unit monitors or overnight staff.Salary: $ 46,000 per yearJob Type: Full-timeTypical Schedule: Midnight - 8 AMMedical & Dental & Vision InsuranceFlexible Spending AccountsBasic Life & Short-Term Disability Insurance401(k) Savings PlanLife Assistance Program (LAP)Tuition Assistance ProgramPaid Time Off (PTO) * Paid Holidays * Paid TrainingAdvancement OpportunitiesJob Duties include but not limited to:Designate senior staff as lead when not on duty.Operates as Senior staff when on duty.Ensures the safety and security of the facility.Oversees the implementation of the patients schedule including intake and screening of new and existing patients.Develops and implements systems to organize and monitor work activities.Facilitates new employee on-the-job training.Provides direction for overnight staff regarding job duties and responsibilities.Schedules employee training to ensure that all mandatory training requirements are met; attends mandatory in-service meetings and trainings.Conducts effective supervisory conferences and performance evaluations with employees, documents the content of such meetings, and provides feedback.Conducts headcount checks, nightly safety checks, and outside perimeter checks per contracting/licensing requirements.Utilizes crisis intervention techniques and responds and intervenes during conflicts.Hiring Requirements:The following educational requirements are acceptable for this classification including:Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university and one year work experience with children; ORAssociate's Degree or 60 Credit hours from an accredited college/university and three years work experience with children.Other Qualifications:At least twenty-one (21) years of age.Criminal clearances (Specific state & child clearances and, if necessary, FBI) and background check.Valid driver's license from employee's state of residence.Valid registered vehicle insurance.Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.Equal Opportunity EmployerAbraxas Youth & Family Services, an affiliate of Apis Services Inc., offers a rewarding career for those passionate about making a difference in the lives of others.
