Distribution Operations include but are not limited to: process inbound inventory receipts, efficiently process customer and consumer orders and support external storage and assembly requirements through accurate completion of inventory transactions, timely material movement and safe operation of all material handling equipment. The PIT Operator is to ensure that each order has been properly picked, staged, and loaded to meet customer requirements properly.\n\nTHE ROLE\n\nIn this role you will be responsible for:\nMeet or exceed labor standards/KPIs.\nIdentify opportunities for continuous process improvement.\nMust work with respect to the safety rules and procedures defined by Coty.\nEfficiently and accurately receive, transport, pick, or label cartons and shipments based on customer shipping requirements.\nTransfer inventory from storage locations throughout the facility, following the procedures outlined to ensure accurate inventory transfers.\nLoad containers based on customer requirements detailed on dock placard.\nUnloading containers in an efficient manner to expedite the receiving process.\nPerform BOSS audits as required.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nKey Indicators:\nSafety\nQuality\nEfficiency\nService\n\nPosition Type/Expected Hours of Work:\nThis is a full-time position.\nThis position requires the ability to work mandatory overtime to meet business needs either within the day and/or the weekend and business operates on multiple shifts. May be required to work on holidays.\n\nWork Environment:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. Work environment could include exposure to varying air temperatures seasonally impacted.\n\nPhysical Demands:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.\n\nMedium: Requires exertion of 21 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, or 11 to 25 pounds of force frequently, or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Requires about 6 or more hours of intermittent standing or walking in an 8-hour workday. Sitting may be required only intermittently and occasionally. Stooping is usually required frequently.\n\nDuration and Repetitive Standards:\nConstant activity or condition exists up more than 2/3 of the time equivalent to more than 5.25 hours per workday or more than 40 minutes each hour.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\n\nWe’d love to see candidates who have:\nEssential:\nHigh School graduate or equivalent.\nPrevious PIT driving experience.\nAbility to achieve forklift certification.\nHAZMAT certification preferred.\nMust be able to read and follow detailed instructions and procedures, and effectively communicate in both verbal and written formats.\n\nSpecial Skills Required:\nKnowledge:\nPrior experience with RF equipment required.\nPrior PIT experience required to include reach or standup equipment.\nExperience in Logistics operations is a requirement, to include any of the following: receiving, warehousing, replenishment, product codes, picking, packing, and dock operations.\nHAZMAT certification is preferred. Ability to achieve certification is required based on work assignment.\n\nFunctional/Technical/Physical Skills:\nCritical thinking ability required to assess operational activities and performance trends for opportunities and/or improvement.\nProven capability to perform basic mathematical operations.\nMust be able to comprehend verbal and written communication in English.\nMust be able to clearly think, communicate, and work well in pressure situations.\nMust be able to successfully multi-task with challenging assignments.\nMust be physically able to climb stairs and/or crosswalks on the operations floor.\nMay be required to work at heights.\nMaintain excellent safety performance.\n\nWHAT WE OFFER\n\nThis is unique role with a genuine opportunity to make an impact.
