In this role, you will drive business value for prospects and existing customers by demonstrating how ThoughtSpot’s product and services can assist in achieving strategic business goals.\n\nThe ideal candidate for this position will have a demonstrated history of success in selling technical solutions to the enterprise market, preferably in the Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, Data Engineering, or Analytics space. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of how technology can solve business challenges, possess a consultative sales approach and value the importance of teamwork while having the ability to work independently in a rapidly growing and changing environment.\n\nWhat You'll Do:\n\nUnderstand customers’ analytic goals and challenges through successful discovery\n\nConfidently present and articulate the business value of our platform to all levels\n\nDemonstrate our product in a way that clearly differentiates us from the competition\n\nDefine and conduct product evaluations with customers by working with them to analyze their own data\n\nWork as a team player by continually learning and sharing new knowledge\n\nManage multiple customer engagements simultaneously\n\nBe self-motivated, flexible and take initiative\n\nBe a partner with sales in assisting with planning account strategy\n\nDevelop a trusted advisor relationship with customer champions and ThoughtSpot Account Executives such that all activities are aligned with achieving customer and company success.\n\nWhat You Bring:\n\nDemonstrated success as part of a sales team in a customer-facing role\n\nIntermediate level or greater proficiency in SQL\n\nIntermediate level or greater proficiency in JavaScript or Python preferred\n\nIntermediate level understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices\n\nHands-on experience with common database technologies such as Snowflake, Amazon RedShift, Google BigQuery, Microsoft Synapse, SQL Server, Oracle, or other\n\nExperience with BI tools such as MicroStrategy, Tableau, Looker or similar\n\nAbility to grasp customer needs and suggest timely solutions\n\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\n\nSuperior presentation and demonstration skills for both technical and business audiences\n\nBroad understanding and ability to articulate the benefits of cloud computing\n\nThe ability to work independently in an environment that changes rapidly\n\nAmbitious, innately curious and self-motivated with a high degree of sales and technical interest\n\nHighly coachable with a strong desire to improve and grow\n\nStrong initiative and positive attitude\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\n\nAble to travel as needed\n\nHybrid Work at ThoughtSpot\nSpotters are expected in-office 3 days per week to experience the energy of their local office.
