The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing security scans, analyzing risks, and supporting patch remediation efforts.Rate Range: $53/Hour to $56/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Engineer Job Responsibilities IncludePerform vulnerability scans using tools such as Qualys, Tenable, Nessus, or Rapid7.Analyze scan results to identify and prioritize security vulnerabilities by risk level.Coordinate with system, network, and application teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities.Assist with patch management activities across Windows and Linux environments.Validate remediation efforts and maintain accurate tracking and documentation.Support compliance, audit requirements, and ongoing monitoring of security advisories and CVEs.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.2+ years of experience in IT security, system administration, or vulnerability management.Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning tools (Qualys, Tenable, Nessus, Rapid7) and Windows/Linux environments.Strong understanding of patch management, security best practices, and compliance/audit support, with good documentation and communication skills.If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
