Senior Environmental Sales Manager - Hazardous & Non-Hazardous ServicesLocation: Remote in New York State (Must live within ~2 hours of Syracuse, NY)Territory: New York and potentially broader Northeast regionCompensation: $130,000 - $180,000 base salaryOn-Target Earnings (OTE): $200,000 - $400,000+ with performance incentivesTravel: Regional travel requiredPosition OverviewOur established environmental and chemical services client is seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Sales Manager to lead new business development efforts across the Northeast. This is a highly visible, revenue-generating role focused primarily on acquiring new clients and expanding service offerings within existing accountsThis opportunity is ideal for a seasoned environmental services sales professional who thrives in a hunter-style role, understands complex regulatory environments, and has a strong track record of building profitable client relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Revenue GrowthIdentify, develop, and close new business opportunities in hazardous and non-hazardous waste servicesExpand relationships within existing accounts through cross-selling and upselling servicesBuild and maintain a strong pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals, and strategic outreachSolution-Based SellingProvide consultative guidance to customers on environmental services and compliance requirementsDevelop tailored solutions across service lines including waste management, recycling, wastewater handling, solvent recovery, and treatment servicesHelp customers navigate regulatory requirements such as RCRA, DOT, and state environmental regulationsTerritory & Pipeline ManagementManage territory strategy and business development initiatives across the regionMaintain accurate forecasting, pipeline tracking, and opportunity management within CRM systemsMonitor territory performance and adjust strategies to achieve revenue targetsCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with internal operations and technical teams to ensure service delivery feasibility and profitabilityWork closely with leadership to identify growth opportunities and market expansion strategiesJob RequirementsRequired Qualifications5+ years of B2B sales experience in environmental services, waste management, industrial services, or chemical-related industriesDemonstrated success in new business development and revenue generationWorking knowledge of hazardous and non-hazardous waste streamsExperience selling complex services in a regulated industryStrong consultative sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skillsAbility to manage a regional territory and travel as neededPreferred ExperienceExperience with TSDF services, lab packs, wastewater treatment, solvent recovery, or industrial cleaning servicesEstablished relationships with regional industrial or environmental clientsSelf-motivated, entrepreneurial sales approach with strong accountability for resultsTo see a full listing of all our open positions, please visit: https://www.redshiftrecruiting.com/jobs-hiring-near-meredShift Recruiting is the region's premier recruiting agency with over 100 years of combined experience in the recruiting field.
