This role oversees preventive and corrective maintenance, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of manufacturing equipment and facilities. The Maintenance Manager partners closely with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime, extend asset life, and support overall plant performance.\r\nManage all activities related to production and infrastructure equipment reliabilityEnsure preventative maintenance performed to expectation\r\nEnsures timely and accurate repair of machine breakdowns\r\nEnsures proper and accurate record keeping of repair and parts usage\r\nEnsure all equipment is updated to outlast standards for both safety and upgrades\r\nsupports OEM initiatives for machine installs and upgrades\r\nImplements and controls predictive maintenance schedules based on data acquired from machine downtime reports\r\nAutonomous maintenance activitiesManaging Maintenance budgetary spendingTracks maintenance spend through reporting software\r\nsupports building maintenance budget during annual budget process\r\nDrives cost savings initiatives through predictive maintenance and rebuild processes with parts suppliersManaging Maintenance teamCoordinates and leads training activities for maintenance techs.Performs LOTO audits for verification of all technicians\r\nAudits all technician work orders in maintenance software for compliance\r\nManage continuous improvement activitiesLeeds and participates in RCA's for reoccurring deviations on equipment or performance\r\nLeeds department in 5S initiatives and installation events\r\nperforms equipment kaizen events to bring equipment to like new conditionWhat Makes You Great\r\nFour-year degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience required\r\nMinimum four years of work experience at ALPLA or similar industry required\r\nExperience with Computer Control Systems on machines\r\nExperience in working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems\r\nAt least 3 years of supervisory experience required\r\nPhysical Demands\r\nThe employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms and very occasionally to climb or balance.\r\nThe employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.\r\nThe employee is occasionally required to\r\nThe employee must regularly lift and/ or move up to 10 lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 30 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 lbs.\r\nSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close\r\nIt is required to act in a safe and environmentally responsible manner at all times by adhering to all ALPLA policies and procedures and Safety Standards (OSHA).\r\nALPLA is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Prohibits Discrimination and Harassment of Any Kind: ALPLA is committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
