In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and leading a team of vehicle operators. This involves a team testing on public roads and private facilities, executing safety protocols, and performing specialized test procedures. You’ll also work with hardware and software engineering teams as needed to help achieve strategic goals.\n\nCoordinate project requirements and scheduling, ensuring sufficient coverage.\nAssign test routes and vehicles to vehicle operators based on vehicle availability and test plan.\nAct as the primary point of contact on-site for the vehicle operator team.\nImplement processes, procedures and work instructions.\nCollaborate with engineering to achieve strategic goals.\nPrepare training materials and assist in onboarding new vehicle operators.\nMotivate vehicle operators to reach objectives and maintain high performance and safety standards.\nMaintain vehicle operator relations, resolve conflicts and foster a positive, productive and professional work environment.\nEnsure test / route schedules are maintained by monitoring driving habits, implementing procedures and/or equipment as required.\nSet key operational performance indicators to measure success and perform data analytics.\nDevelop and manage detailed operational reports, dashboards and tools to report results in an accurate and timely manner.\nEnsure essential tools and equipment are well-organized and easily accessible.\nPerform vehicle inspections to ensure safety, functionality and cleanliness.
