We focus on disciplined growth, long-term relationships, and an owner-operator mindset across acquisitions, development, leasing, construction services, and property management.As Property Accountant, you will assist with day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping functions related to the firm both on the property management and construction teams. This role supports the accounting team by maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with property-level financial reporting.This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in commercial real estate accounting and property management operations.RESPONSIBILITIESProperty Accounting• Record and maintain property-level financial transactions• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable• Process vendor invoices and track payments• Manage tenant billing, rent collections, and CAM reconciliationsBookkeeping & Financial Tracking• Maintain general ledger entries and supporting documentation• Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations• Track operating expenses and vendor payments• Ensure accurate coding of expenses and compliance with accounting procedures• Preserve organized financial records and digital filesReporting Support• Assist with preparation of monthly financial reports, annual budgets, and operating forecasts• Help track budgets and operating expenses• Support the accounting team during month-end closingAdministrative Support• Coordinate with property managers, vendors, and team members on accounting matters• Maintain organized lease, vendor, and accounting documentationQUALIFICATIONSRequired• 2+ years of experience in real estate, construction, development, brokerage, finance, or a related field• Demonstrated interest in accounting, bookkeeping, or real estate finance• Strong attention to details and organizational skills• Basic proficiency in Excel and Microsoft 365• Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills• Comfortable operating in a lean, entrepreneurial environmentPreferred• Experience with Yardi, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software• Familiarity with CAM reconciliations and lease structures• Exposure to a boutique real estate firm or family office
