This position requires a blend of IT expertise, software development skills, and project planning experience.\nJOB PROFILE AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\n\nUtilize VBA, VB.Net, C#, iLogic, and other scripting skills to modify, develop, debug, and document programs and reports.\nApply understanding of the company’s applications and database ecosystems to ensure solution interoperability.\nApply understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and where existing applications and procedures are within\nthe life cycle.\n\nAcquire and maintain up-to-date knowledge of applications and programming discipline, design methods, and\ndocumentation techniques.\n\nEnsure software solutions are user-friendly, efficient, and produce accurate and reliable results.\nProvide programming support for development projects.\nLeverage skills to transform design requirements into source code design outputs.\nLeverage skills to conduct software validation testing and documentation.\nLeverage skills to consult with managers about software design requirements.\nModify existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, or improve its performance.\nHelp create ISO standard documentation of developed workflows.\nHelp to train end-users to implement newly developed workflows in production.\nHelp support the company’s existing custom automation applications and procedures.\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES\n\n3+ years of experience in cylindrical pressure vessel design/engineering desired. Fundamental understanding of\nengineering drawings/principles and associated pressure vessel manufacturing processes required.\n\nDegree in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Programming, or a related field preferred.\n2+ years of experience in 3D Modeling (Autodesk Inventor Pro and/or other 3D parametric platforms) desired.\n1+ years of experience with Data Management (Autodesk Vault Pro and/or others) a plus.\nExperience with developing macros and/or applications using CAD APIs to automate repetitive tasks such as the creation\nof parts, assemblies, drawings, formats, family tables, reports, etc.\n\nProficiency with software development/programming (VB.Net, C#, and other scripting as well as programming skills to\ndesign, develop, debug, document, and deploy applications) desired.
