Fill in kennel care

DAYS – 7am to 3pm or 5 pm to 8pm shifts are available 7 days per week, depending on availability RESPONSIBILITIES Clean dog and cat isolation or main kennels per cleaning instructions Clean animals in “other animal room” per their needs Feed all animals in isolation or main kennels and keep feeding schedules up to date Feed all animals in “other animal room” per their needs Administer medications to all animals in isolation and main building as needed Complete dog health evaluation sheet Organize entrance fecals Keep accurate records of animals and all care received and needed General cleaning and upkeep of isolation rooms throughout the day Bathe and groom animals Laundry Dishes Socialize Dogs General building maintenance Work with volunteers on proper training, walking and general handling procedure and protocol for the dogs in our care (consistency = adoptability) Work with the public on proper care, handling and training skills for their dogs to keep these dogs in their homes Communicate in staff log book in writing all concerns and issues regarding the animals in our care Maintain accurate time sheet Other tasks as assigned Job Type: Part-time Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour Shift: 8 hour shift Day shift Night shift Work Days: Monday to Friday Weekends as needed People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Ability to Relocate: Hayward, WI 54843: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
