This position ensures that donor information, fundraising systems, and team processes are accurate, organized, and effective.\n\nThis role provides an opportunity to gain broad exposure to nonprofit fundraising, donor engagement, CRM management, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration while supporting Jhpiego’s mission to improve health outcomes around the world.\n\nResponsibilities:\nDatabase Management & Gift Processing\nMaintain accurate donor, prospect, and gift records in Raiser’s Edge database.\nEnter and update donor information, gift records, acknowledgments, and engagement activities.\nProcess gifts, pledges, and other donor transactions in coordination with Development and Finance teams.\nSupport database quality control, data cleanup, and ongoing improvements to donor records.\nMaintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with donor data management practices.\n\nReporting, Data Management & Fundraising Support\nGenerate routine donor, gift, and fundraising reports to support Development activities and leadership requests.\nPrepare donor lists for campaigns, communications, events, stewardship activities, and recognition materials.\nSupport tracking of fundraising activity, donor engagement, and campaign results.\nAssist with basic prospect research and preparation of donor background information.\n\nDonor Stewardship & Team Support\nSupport donor acknowledgment, recognition, and stewardship activities.\nAssist with preparation for donor meetings, events, and engagement activities.\nMaintain accurate records of donor interactions and stewardship activities.\nProvide administrative support to the Director, Development and Development team.\nProcess Improvement & Collaboration\nSupport the integration of online giving platforms (Luminate Online, TeamRaiser, etc.) into Raiser’s Edge.\nSupport testing and implementation of new fundraising technologies and contribute ideas for process improvements.\nCollaborate with IT and external vendors to ensure data accuracy and system optimization.\nMaintain compliance with data privacy and security standards.\nMaintain and manage Airtable as a centralized project management and tracking tool for development operations, including campaign timelines, stewardship workflows, and cross-team deliverables\nProject Management & Cross-Functional Coordination\nSupport improvements to Development processes, systems, and workflows.\nParticipate in testing and implementation of new fundraising tools and technologies.\nCollaborate with Communications, and other teams to support philanthropic initiatives.\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree with 1–3 years of experience in nonprofit development, fundraising operations, data management, or related field. Relevant internships or hands-on experience with donor databases will be considered.\nExperience working with fundraising databases; familiarity with Blackbaud products (Raiser’s Edge) preferred\nWillingness and ability to learn new systems and tools quickly.\nExperience with peer-to-peer or online fundraising tools (e.g., TeamRaiser, JustGiving)\nStrong Excel skills and proficiency in other Microsoft Office programs (Word, Teams, Outlook); experience with Airtable or similar project management platforms required\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to organize, interpret, and present data clearly\nExceptional attention to detail and organizational skills; must be able to manage complex workflows, track multiple concurrent projects, and maintain accuracy under deadline pressure\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams\nProven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment; demonstrated project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional workflows from planning through execution\nCommitment to confidentiality and ethical handling of donor information\nAbility to travel up to 5% of the time\nPreferred Qualifications:\nCoursework or certification in fundraising, data analytics, or CRM management\n3+ years of experience supporting individual or foundation fundraising programs\n\nThe salary range for this role is expected to be: $47,193 - $57,443.\nTotal Rewards\nThe referenced salary range is based on Johns Hopkins University’s good faith belief at the time of posting.
