Box Truck Driver

Responsibilities Safely operate a box truck for local deliveries, route driving, and pick-up/drop-off tasks. Load and unload cargo efficiently using manual lifting techniques, pallet jacks, or forklifts as needed. Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule, maintaining excellent customer service standards. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to verify safety, cleanliness, and proper functioning of all equipment. Maintain detailed records of deliveries, mileage logs, and route documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly. Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure safe driving practices at all times. Requirements Valid driver’s license (Non-CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a delivery driver or box truck driver with route driving expertise. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual loading/unloading of cargo safely. Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients. Knowledge of local routes, navigation tools, and traffic regulations. Physical stamina to handle moving cargo throughout the workday in various conditions.
