In this role, you will perform preventative maintenance tasks on the simulators and associated simulator systems.\nDescription\nLearn and perform preventive maintenance tasks on simulators and associated simulator systems.\nAssist in diagnosing and correcting routine problems on simulators and associated systems.\nPerform pre‑flight and post‑flight tasks on designated simulators.\nPerform basic visual alignments.\nRun automatic Qualification Test Guide (QTG).\nUtilize the maintenance management system to record and track maintenance activities.\nComplete all designated training activities.\nAssist with refurbishment and hardware modifications.\nLearn and comply with CAE’s quality management system.\nProvide customer service support and address customer needs in a timely manner.\nPerform logistics duties, including parts receipt, repair, and testing/validation.\nPerform housekeeping functions to maintain simulators as required.\nPerform required administrative tasks.\nMinimum Qualifications\n2‑year technical degree or equivalent related training.\n1 year of simulator‑related experience in one of the following:\nElectronics/avionics\nAutomated systems\nComputer networking repair and troubleshooting\nProficiency in reading and interpreting prints and schematics.\nKnowledge of analog and digital theory.\nBasic skills in operating test equipment.\nBasic skills in soldering and circuit board repair.\nSome knowledge of PCs and MS Office tools and suite.\nAble to travel (less than 10%).\nBenefits\nan environment where your initiatives will be recognized and valued\nthe opportunity to travel internationally\nthe opportunity to work on a variety of projects on a multidisciplinary team\nthe opportunity to represent the organization at external conventions and conferences\nthe possibility to work from home occasionally flexible schedules\nattractive employee benefits\nPhysical Effort\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
