Job Description Carpentry Manager - Tower 3 Carpentry (Teton Region)Reports To: PresidentJob Type: Full-time, salariedWork location: Job sites are located in the Teton Region, including but not limited to Jackson, Wilson, and Teton Village, WY and Teton Valley, ID - Victor, Driggs & Tetonia, ID and Alta, WY.Tower 3 Carpentry is the self-perform carpentry and labor division of New West Building Company. We build high high-quality residential and commercial projects with a focus on craftsmanship, safety, and teamwork. We're looking for a skilled Carpentry Manager to join our team.About the RoleThe Carpentry Manager leads Tower 3's self-performed carpentry and labor teams across multiple projects. You'll supervise crew leaders, drive productivity, uphold safety and quality standards, and support project teams in delivering work on schedule and within budget.Key ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day operations for self-perform carpentry and labor crewsPlan and schedule self-perform labor and carpentry workforce across multiple active projectsHire, train, mentor, and evaluate carpenters and laborers in partnership with HRDevelop crew leads and high potential employees to support career path growthTrack productivity, labor hours, and costs; implement efficiency improvementsCoordinate materials procurement for self-perform scopesParticipate in preconstruction planning/constructability reviewsEnforce OSHA and company safety standards; run safety meetings and inspectionsMaintain incident/inspection/compliance documentation and corrective actionsSupport punch list and closeout; step in to perform carpentry/labor work as neededRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent5+ years construction experience with strong carpentry background3+ years supervising field crewsExperience coordinating labor across multiple projectsValid driver's license and ability to travel locally between job sitesOSHA 30-hour Construction Safety certification (required)Preferred QualificationsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related fieldExperience with a GC/self-perform divisionSpanish language skillsYou'll do well in this role if you are:A strong field leader who coaches, holds standards, and builds team capabilityOrganized and proactive—good at workforce planning and balancing competing prioritiesSafety-first and consistent with documentation and follow-throughQuality-minded with solid plan/spec reading skills and constructability instinctsA clear communicator who collaborates well with PMs, Superintendents, subs, and support teamsComfortable using jobsite tech (PM/scheduling tools, mobile reporting)What's in it for you:Medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchCompany provided Long Term DisabilitySupplemental insurance policies (Life & AD&D, Short Term Disability, Hospital Indemnity, Accident insurance & Critical Illness insurance)Unlimited Paid Time OffPaid Parental LeaveEmployee Assistance ProgramAccess to trade industry discounts and more!Please note:Compensation: The pay rate listed reflects the maximum for this role.
