The role involves designing and developing state‑of‑the‑art, space‑based communication systems for commercial, civil, and national security programs.\n\nThis position is 100 % onsite in El Segundo, CA and participates in Boeing’s optional 9/80 schedule rotation.\n\nPosition Responsibilities\n\nDesign and develop next‑generation RF and digital satellite communication systems.\n\nDevelop and verify multi‑rate fixed‑point signal‑processing algorithms.\n\nConduct performance analysis of signal‑processing models.\n\nPerform waveform development and characterization.\n\nConduct trade studies.\n\nSupport integration and test of payloads and spacecraft from unit level through in‑orbit operations.\n\nSupport HDL‑level design and verification.\n\nPerform detailed system design and verification activities.\n\nBasic Qualifications (Required)\n\nPermission to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, requiring U.S. citizenship. Final U.S. Secret Clearance Post‑Start required.\n\nBachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.\n\nEducation and/or experience in signal processing.\n\nPreferred Qualifications (Desired)\n\nExperience working with ASICs or FPGAs.\n\nExperience with performance characteristics of analog electronics or data converters (ADCs/DACs).\n\nExperience with digital/RF lab equipment (oscilloscope, signal generator, spectrum analyzer).\n\nAt least 1 year of experience with MATLAB and/or Simulink.\n\nAt least 1 year of experience in digital signal processing or digital communications.\n\nAt least 1 year of experience in systems engineering concepts (requirements definition, allocation, verification, architecture design, and trade design).\n\nAdditional Information\nConflict of Interest assessment required.\n\nDrug‑free workplace policy applies.\n\nRelocation assistance may be offered for eligible internal candidates.\n\nSalary range: $79,050 – $106,950 (entry‑level).\n\nEEO Statement\nBoeing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
