Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

Job Description Job Summary:Fab's Family Medical Transport is seeking a dedicated and professional Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our growing team. The EMT will be responsible for providing safe patient transport, basic life support, and exceptional customer service while ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.Key Responsibilities:Safely operate ambulance and transport vehicles in accordance with company policy and traffic lawsProvide Basic Life Support (BLS) care to patients during transportAssist patients in and out of vehicles, ensuring comfort and safety at all timesMonitor patient condition and report any changes promptlyComplete accurate and timely documentation (trip sheets, patient care reports, etc.)Maintain cleanliness, readiness, and proper stocking of vehicles and equipmentCommunicate effectively with dispatch, healthcare facilities, and team membersAdhere to all company policies, including safety and no phone use while drivingTreat all patients with dignity, respect, and professionalismQualifications:Current EMT-B certification (State required)Valid driver's license with a clean driving recordCurrent CPR/BLS certificationEVOC certification (preferred)Ability to pass background check and drug screeningStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to lift and move patients (minimum 125 lbs with assistance)Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience in NEMT or ambulance transportFamiliarity with stretcher operations and patient handling techniquesKnowledge of local service areasWork Environment & Physical Requirements:Ability to sit, stand, bend, and lift for extended periodsWork may include nights, weekends, and holidaysExposure to various weather conditionsWhy Join Fab's Family Medical Transport?Supportive, team-oriented environmentFlexible scheduling optionsCompetitive pay (based on experience)Meaningful work making a difference in your communityCompany DescriptionFab's Family provides transportation for patients that need to be transferred to other hospitals for a higher level of care.
