Community Support CoordinatorThe Community Support Coordinator assists the Community Support Supervisor in providing day-to-day, non-emergency assistance and convenience-based services to residents. This role maintains a visible and approachable presence throughout the community while supporting resident needs, assisting with routine requests, and contributing to the overall upkeep of shared spaces through observation, reporting, and coordination.About the Community:We are an innovative new town that sets a completely new standard for sustainable, responsible growth. We have a very robust Lifestyle program, hosting numerous lifestyle events annually.Responsibilities:Provide non-emergency, convenience-based assistance to residents, supporting everyday needs in a professional, responsive, and service-oriented mannerMaintain a consistent, visible presence throughout the community, engaging with residents and supporting a positive and approachable environmentAssist with routine service requests such as basic vehicle support (e.g., jump starts using approved equipment), package placement, and other general assistance within role scopeSupport community upkeep by observing and reporting maintenance needs, debris, or infrastructure concerns, and communicating with appropriate teams for follow-upMonitor shared spaces, trails, and amenities for general conditions and report any concerns related to cleanliness, functionality, or appearanceAssist with the organization and readiness of department vehicles and equipment, including maintaining supply levels and reporting replenishment needsAccurately document service requests, observations, and daily activities in accordance with department processesCommunicate effectively with Supervisors, team members, and other departments to support coordination and timely resolution of needsRequirements:Qualifications & Experience:High school diploma or equivalentMust be at least 18 years oldEffective communication skills, equipped to deal with all levels of personnel and general public in a professional and effective mannerPossession of a current Driver's License with no major offensesIntermediate computer and mobile device skillsExcellent customer service while remaining courteous at all timesAbility to handle crisis situations calmly and efficientlyComfortable working in various environmentsFlexibility to work days, nights and weekend in rotating shiftsMust pass a pre-employment drug screen and background checkSkills & Competencies:Service Orientation Demonstrates a friendly, responsive, and resident-focused approach in all interactionsCommunication Skills Communicates clearly and professionally with residents, team members, and leadershipResponsibility & Reliability Follows through on assigned tasks, maintains consistency, and supports team operationsAttention to Detail Accurately observes, documents, and communicates service needs and conditionsOperational Awareness Maintains awareness of surroundings, community conditions, and resident needsAdaptability Adjusts to changing priorities and supports a variety of service requestsProfessional Presence Maintains a visible, approachable, and professional demeanor within the communityPhysical Requirements:The physical requirements can vary, but generally, they may include:Lifting: Ability to; climb, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, lift and carry up to 50 lbs,Mobility: Ability to walk the grounds long distances in various weather conditionsWorking conditions: Capability to sit or stand for extended periods during meetings or events.Personal protective gear: Use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required depending on tasks, such as gloves, safety glasses, or high-visibility apparel.Manual Dexterity: Skills in using technology, including computers and mobile devices.Driving: Ability to operate a vehicle to perform certain job functions.
