Join our dynamic team and be a part of shaping the future of connectivity!\nWe are rapidly expanding our fiber network and are looking for a highly skilled Construction Manager to join our team.\nAs the Fiber Construction Supervisor at Socket Fiber, you will manage positive relationships with external vendors to bring continuous value for both Socket and the external provider. You will be responsible for planning, organizing, and training contract resources to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on time.\nThis is not a remote position. Applicant must be located in the Memphis, TN area.\nResponsibilities\nDirect a team of Field Coordinators or Outside Plant Engineers to manage construction contractors to meet company deadlines for fiber duct, fiber installation and splicing through test and activation/close out with quality and safety being front of mind.\nSet quality and safety standards processes, ensure quality and safety checks are taking place with contractors daily/weekly meetings and reporting documentation is gathered and placed in a company repository.\nSeek out and manage positive relationships with external partners\nWork with key internal partners to understand both needs and constraints, creating plans to provide solutions\nLeverage outside resources to maximize production\nManage to timelines and constraints, ensuring there is clear communication to all stakeholders\nUtilize creative problem solving skills to identify unique solutions\nCreate opportunities to outsource functions currently done internally\nIdentify process efficiencies to drive early success\nEnsure resources are set up for success: proper training, onboarding and feedback is delivered\nRequirements\n5+ years experience working in construction, managing projects, providing project support, OR a relationship/client manager\nProven expertise in managing large-scale projects.\nIn-depth knowledge of construction processes.\nExceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.\nFamiliarity with relevant software and tools for project management and construction oversight.\nA strong commitment to safety and compliance.\nPrevious experience in the telecommunication industry required\nPrevious experience in fiber design and fiber splicing preferred\n\nWhy Join Socket Fiber?\nAt Socket Fiber, we're redefining what it means to connect communities.
