Class A Tanker Driver
Objective
This position is responsible for delivery and pick-up of items outside of a normal distribution route, as well as hauling raw milk and water disposal using company tankers.
Compensation & Schedule
Hourly position
40 hours per week
Occasional overtime and weekend work required
Required Skills & Qualifications
Valid Oregon Class A CDL with tanker and air brake endorsements
Current medical card
Clean driving record
Experience operating a forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck
Ability to move up to 200 lbs of product down a ramp using a hand truck
Excellent communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
Flexible and adaptable to change
Willingness and ability to learn new skills
Strong problemsolving skills with a companyfirst mindset
Ability to perform a highly physical job, including frequent lifting, bending, and standing on concrete
Duties & Responsibilities
Perform delivery and pickup services in the Portland area
Pick up and deliver milk tankers
Deliver DAFF byproducts to dairies
Deliver products to SnoTemp and other required locations
Support warehouse operations, including: o Pulling ingredients and packaging
Receiving shipments oStocking milk jugs
Properly receive truckloads of packaging and ingredients
Occasionally run special deliveries as needed
Maintain cleanliness of tractor and trailer
Conduct daily DOT pretrip inspections, including fluid checks (oil, water, fuel, refrigeration units, etc.)
Load and stage hot trailers
Perform tanker wash duties
Serve as an FDAcertified milk sampler and tester (antibiotic testing)
Deliver product to DOC in Salem
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
Frequent lifting, bending, and standing
Work performed in warehouse, dock, and outdoor environments
Standing and walking on concrete surfaces

New employees must complete Food Safety Training within their first 30 days
Employees will be assessed on two Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) each month
