Job Title:Operational SupportLocation:RemotePay Range:$50-55Job Description:We are seeking a skilled Windows/VMWare/Storage Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with NetApp, VAST, and other CIFS platforms, as well as proficiency in VMware and Windows operating systems. This role involves migrating storage solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability.Key ResponsibilitiesMigration of storage mapped to a DFS namespace from NetApp to VAST. Day to day management of legacy NetApp, VAST, and CIFS platforms. Management of Dell PowerStore arrays as part of a VMWare environment. Monitor and optimize storage availability, performance and capacity. Manage data protection and disaster recovery services and strategies. Troubleshoot and resolve storage-related issues. Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate storage solutions with existing infrastructure. Maintain documentation and provide training to team members. Manage and support VMware environments. Administer and maintain Windows operating systems.QualificationsProven experience with Powerstore, NetApp, VAST, CIFS platforms, VMware, and Windows operating systems. Strong understanding of storage protocols and technologies. Experience with data protection and disaster recovery solutions. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Preferred QualificationsCertifications in storage technologies (e.g., NetApp Certified Data Administrator). Experience with cloud storage solutions.
