This role sits at the intersection of sales, product, and implementation and is critical to advancing late-stage deals.\nThis individual must rapidly develop deep expertise in PPi’s product line, understand real-world healthcare workflows, and confidently demonstrate how Care Compass integrates into and improves EHR-driven environments. The role is accountable for translating buyer pain points into compelling, workflow-based demos that move deals forward and reduce friction in the sales cycle.\nHealthcare SaaS experience is table stakes. Hands-on EHR experience is non-negotiable.\nEssential Functions and Key Responsibilities\nSales Engineering & Product Demonstration\nOwn the end-to-end demo experience for mid- to late-stage prospects, from discovery alignment through technical validation.\nDesign and deliverworkflow-based demonstrations of Care Compass that reflect real clinical, operational, and administrative use cases.\nTailor demos to specific buyer personas (clinical, IT, operations, executive) and healthcare settings.\nClearly articulate product value, differentiation, and outcomes in a way that resonates with healthcare buyers.\nSupport sales reps during calls as the technical and workflow authority.\nProduct & Domain Expertise\nDevelop and maintain deep working knowledge of PPi’s full product portfolio, integrations, and roadmap.\nMaintain fluency in EHR systems, healthcare data flows, interoperability concepts, and common implementation challenges.\nStay current on product enhancements, feature releases, limitations, and known issues to ensure demos are accurate and credible.\nTranslate complex technical concepts into plain-language business value for non-technical stakeholders.\nDeal Support & Sales Enablement\nPartner closely with Sales to qualify technical fit and reduce downstream implementation risk.\nSupport RFPs, security questionnaires, and technical discovery as needed.\nIdentify and surface upsell or cross-sell opportunities based on prospect workflows and use cases.\nProvide structured feedback to Product and Implementation teams based on prospect interactions.\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nWork directly with Product, Implementation, Client Success, and Engineering to ensure demo environments reflect real-world deployments.\nParticipate in select implementations to validate what was sold aligns with what is delivered.\nEnsure a clean handoff from Sales to Implementation by documenting workflows, assumptions, and customer expectations.\nProcess & Continuous Improvement\nStandardize demo workflows, environments, and assets to improve scalability and consistency.\nContribute to sales playbooks, demo scripts, and enablement materials.\nIdentify gaps in product messaging or demo capability and proactively drive resolution.\nRequired Skills & Experience\nBachelor’s degree in a related field or 5 years equivalent practical experience.\nDirect experience with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, Athena, or similar).\nPrior experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Consultant, Demo Specialist, or Pre-Sales role within healthcare SaaS.\nStrong understanding of healthcare workflows, data interoperability, and clinical/operational use cases.\nProven ability to present complex software solutions to diverse audiences.\nExecutive-level communication skills—clear, concise, and credible.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously.\nSelf-directed, outcomes-focused, and comfortable operating in ambiguity.\nPreferred Qualifications\nWorking knowledge of PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) and/or MLTC (Managed Long-Term Care) program models.\nFamiliarity with PACE/MLTC operational workflows, regulatory considerations, and care coordination requirements.\nExperience demonstrating or supporting technology solutions in value-based care, long-term services and supports (LTSS), or complex care populations.\nFamiliarity with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms.\nExposure to implementation or customer success in a healthcare SaaS environment.\nPhysical & Work Environment Requirements\nPrimarily sedentary office work with occasional travel for onsite demos, client meetings, or industry events.\nAbility to travel periodically as business needs dictate.\nWhy This Role Matters\nThis role directly impacts deal velocity, win rates, and customer satisfaction.
