Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Assistant/ Caregiver to provide exceptional support and care to individuals in need of assistance with daily activities. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations Support clients with meal preparation, ensuring nutritious and balanced diets tailored to individual needs Provide patient observation to detect changes in condition or behavior, especially in memory or dementia care settings Utilize specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts safely during transfers and mobility assistance Maintain cleanliness of living spaces by performing light housekeeping duties including cleaning and laundry Follow detailed care plans developed by healthcare professionals to deliver consistent, personalized support Requirements Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes setting Knowledge of patient care techniques including assisting with ADLs and medication reminders Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, Alzheimer’s disease, dementia or memory care needs is highly desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required for resident transfers or mobility assistance Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and recognizing changes in health status Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are a plus for community-based caregiving roles Join us in creating a positive impact through compassionate caregiving!
