You will lead and build our 6-8 person accounting team, driving excellence in financial management, controls, and reporting. This hands-on position requires a strong accounting background, exceptional leadership skills, and a robust work ethic. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and have the opportunity to build, lead, and operate one of the top 5 multi-generation Family Offices in North Carolina.\nKey Responsibilities:\nActively manage accounting and controls for approximately 110 employees in 10 states. Oversee and enhance accounting processes for:\nProperty Management and Manufactured Housing Operations (70%): Manage accounting for 87 manufactured housing communities with 8,300 lots and 6,700 residents.\nNew Storage Construction Accounting (10%): Handle $120M local construction pipeline accounting.\nLand Development Transaction & Tax Accounting (10%): Oversee accounting for over 1,000 local acres in development.\nCorporate Accounting, Trusts & Family Office Finance Planning (10%)\nQualifications:\nCPA preferred with a proven track record in:\nPublic Accounting, with > 5 years as a Manager.\nBuilding or rebuilding accounting teams at similar or larger organizations (10+ years).\nBuilding or rebuilding operating teams in property management or commercial construction (10+ years).\nWorking in large-scale property management or real estate investment companies.\nHolding a 5+ year tenure in an operational business within real estate development.\nDemonstrated ability to deliver timely and reliable accounting and reporting data.\nKey Skills and Attributes:\nKeen attention to detail.\nStrong sense of urgency.\nPersonal ownership of outcomes.\nAdaptability in working with different division managers and operational co-workers.\nPassion for building a strong and lasting accounting team.\nWhat We Offer:\nCompetitive salary.\nHealthcare plan.\n401K.\nLong-term career growth in a Family Office with a large scale and evergreen runway.\nJoin us and become a key leader in building a top-tier multi-generation Family Office.
