We have worked to develop strong relationships with the Petrochemical Industry and the supporting Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) companies; Integrated Material Suppliers; and General Mechanical providers. AXion has proven, effective processes and technologies. We have the experience and understanding required to efficiently manage routine Maintenance, Repair, and Operating (MRO) materials, order spares, manage inbound delivery and receipt, provide preservation and maintenance services, and the dispositioning of surplus or obsolete material and equipment.\nPosition Purpose:\nPrimary objective is to support maintenance repair and overhaul activities in the production plants serviced from the warehouse at the lowest overall cost to Client, while following all safety rules and recommendations.\nDuties & Responsibilities:\nAXion Material Handler 2 will:\nConduct physical inspection and note OS&D on received goods\nSafely perform physical and administrative tasks associated with warehouse operations\nMake deliveries throughout the plant\nPerform housekeeping duties\nLoad/offload trucks\nAudit incoming/outgoing materials against BOL/Packing slips\nProcess pick tickets for goods issued\nReconcile received versus ordered goods\nEnter GR transactions in warehouse management system\nCorrectly Stage/store materials in location\nMaintain Accurate inventory levels\nObtain PODs from suppliers\nProcess returns\nAssist with calls and walk-ins\nStage materials\nQualifications:\nThe ideal candidate will possess:\nSignificant work experience in Materials & Warehouse operations background/maintenance experience\nIndustrial equipment and materials knowledge\nCapable of delivering results and meeting aggressive timelines\nStrong problem-solving and implementation planning skills\nEffective interpersonal and team building skills\nExcellent computer skills (MS Office Suite)\nKnowledge of SAP MM/WM or equivalent\nHighly developed critical analysis skills and creative thinking\nValid Driver’s License Required\nBasic Plus or Equivalent Required\nForklift Experience Required\nAbility to kneel, squat, lift and carry 50lbs, climb ladders, etc.\nCompany Conformance Statements:\nIn the performance of their respective tasks and duties, all employees are expected to conform to the following:\nMaintain excellent record of attendance and punctuality.\nPerform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.\nInteract professionally with other employees, customers, and suppliers.\nMaintain high ethical standards in all actions.\nAdhere to generally accepted safety practices at all times.\nSupport the company’s culture in actions and communications.\nNote: Nothing in this job description changes the at-will nature of employment with this organization.
