You'll work closely with thoughtful, driven teammates who push each other to do their best.\nWhat You'll Do\nHelp create models and sims for cross domain uses\nCreate training environment for operations\nCreate AI&T testing tool suite to aid in SITL testing\nMaintain and create coding environment\nVerify model and sims against hardware\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired\n3-8 Years of experience in modeling and simulation for complex aerospace missions\nExpert knowledge in C++ and Python\nOwned at least one area of a software product\nExperience developing for multiple internal stakeholders such as AI&T, GSW, MOPS, FSW, etc\nKnowledge of distributed compute frameworks\nBS in Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or closely related STEM field\n\nYour Ideal Background\nPreferred\nExperience simulating in 6-DOF relative motion and RPOC\nContributed to previous digital twin efforts\nStrong foundation in multiple subsystems such as GNC, Flight Dynamics, EPS, Propulsion, etc\nPrevious experience in simulations frameworks such as Basalisk, STK, GMAT\nStrong foundation in multiple subsystems such as GNC, Flight Dynamics, EPS, Propulsion, etc\n\nAdditional Requirements: Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed.\nCompensation and Benefits: Your base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience. The anticipated salary range for this role is $120,000 - $165,000 annually.\nBase salary is just one part of your total rewards package at Katalyst. You will also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of the Employee Stock Option and Equity Plan, as well as a relocation bonus and other discretionary bonuses. You will also receive access to comprehensive medical, vision, and dental coverage, and unlimited Paid Time Off.\nAt Katalyst our work on projects involving the U.S. Department of Defense requires adherence to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), 22 C.F.R.
