Join our dynamic team today and find a rewarding career with a company that values you and all you bring to the table.\nAbout Your Role:\nAs an Operations Manager at one of Dollar Tree’s Distribution Centers, you’ll partner with other leaders to oversee safe, clean, and efficient receiving, order filling, and shipping operations in a high-volume, multi-shift environment. You’ll ensure work is performed according to SOPs while meeting productivity and quality goals and reinforcing Dollar Tree’s culture of safety, sanitation, and customer service. Your day-to-day job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:\nDistribution Center Operations:\nCoordinate and manage the filling of store orders, order selection, trailer loading, and related documentation\nMonitor loads to ensure merchandise is loaded according to quality and stability standards\nCoordinate and manage the flow of order selection functions from primary pick locations through outbound trailer close\nAssist in coordinating replenishment cycles to ensure timely restocking of primary pick locations\nEstablish and monitor daily selecting and loading schedules to ensure adherence and proper resource utilization\nInbound Operations:\nManage and coordinate the receipt, unloading, and checking of merchandise\nMonitor inbound loads to ensure unloading priorities are followed\nCoordinate the flow of reserve inventory from receiving docks to reserve locations\nMonitor reserve areas to ensure orderly and accurate storage of merchandise\nEstablish and monitor daily receiving schedules to meet operational priorities and cost controls\nPerformance, Safety & Quality:\nMonitor and manage key productivity indicators including safety, financial, productivity, service, and people metrics\nEnsure accuracy, housekeeping, damage reduction, and safety through enforcement of company standards\nFoster a culture of safety, sanitation, integrity, and customer service\nLeadership & Administration:\nManage the development, implementation, and administration of operational policies, programs, and systems across all shifts\nEstablish methods and procedures for departmental work activities and resolve operational issues\nPartner with Human Resources on hiring, training, mentoring, evaluating, and developing associates\nCarry out coaching, counseling, disciplinary actions, and employment recommendations as appropriate\nShare information and anticipate communication needs of distribution center associates\nPrepare operational statistics and reports for assigned functional areas\nJudgment & Continuous Improvement:\nPerform work with minimal direction, exercising independent judgment and decision-making\nEvaluate current processes, methods, and SOPs and recommend continuous improvement initiatives\nYour Required Skills and Experience:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required\nMinimum of five (5) years of distribution center management or operations experience, or equivalent\nGood working knowledge of distribution center practices and procedures\nStrong leadership, administrative, organizational, managerial, and communication skills\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and implement solutions\nAbility to make independent decisions, solve problems, and accept accountability\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)\nWorking knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), such as AS400\nFlexibility to work various shifts based on business needs\nPreferred Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field\nOur success is a team effort —\nwhen we reach our goals, you’ll be eligible for a yearly bonus!\nYour Perks and Benefits:\nWe offer a wide variety of rewards to support your health, wealth, and mental well-being.
